No, I'm not a perv . . . but I've noticed a trend in my own experience running a home-based business.
Running a home biz has its advantages - you can crawl out of bed, throw on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, grab a cup of coffee and head upstairs to the office. But it has been my experience that the days that I do just that - I am the least productive. I end up spending too much time checking the sports scores, too much time on Twitter or the other social networking sites, and basically end up just burning a day.
Then, there's the mornings when I get up, jump in the shower, get presentable, put on decent clothes (in my case, a good pair of jeans and a Tommy Bahama shirt!) splash on a little cologne and THEN head upstairs to the office. Those tend to be the days that I'm the most motivated - I blow out a chunk of my "to do" list, call contacts, make a few cold calls and end up accomplishing much.
Are you this way? Does clothes and getting "presentable" make a difference in your productivity?
