South Carolina Jazz Festival

The wife and I had a great day hanging out in Cheraw, SC for the 2009 South Carolina Jazz Festival. We did a lot of sight seeing cruising by the historical homes and buildings... taking it all in. There was musicians playing in different areas of town, sidewalk art, kids with painted faces and lots of people enjoying themselves.

The wife got a little cold, so we hit "Raw" the local coffeehouse, enjoyed some warm java and played a game of checkers... the wife kicked my but at the end of the game.

I enjoyed listening to the Jazz as we walked around town and I wish we could have stayed for the entire evening show, but we didn't bring enough warm clothing, so we caved and headed back home once the sun began to sink.

I really dig Cheraw, SC! It's a beautiful Southern Town and the people are very pleasant.
