That sounds great! I just came across "Union County Neighbors" last night while setting up a twitter account, but I hadn't heard of "Monroe Scope". You probably already know this, but I'm a member of iMatthews.com as well. I actually found iMatthews after creating my Ning account to build Mint-Hill and it looks like "Union County Neighbors" is a Ning site too.
All four of us should do some brain storming on how to utilize our four sites and build community awareness of each site and the activities in our communities. From what I've seen of your site, Union and Monroe... I've got the most work ahead of me to catch up. : )
